The huge wood resources of our Amazonian forest fully support the demand of our customers, assuring a long term stability for the attention of the orders.
The Amazonian wood field covers 2,722,000 squared miles, approximately the same area than the territory of the United States . This crucial ecological system covers the Amazonian lower parts as well as the eastern side of the Andean mountains (also known as the Tropìcal Andeans) and covers part of nine different countries : Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Equator, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam and French Guyana, from an ecological point of view united as the structure of the Amazonian wood field. This geographical and geopolitical zone which represents the 85 percent of the humid tropical forest is perfectly intact, and represents a 60 percent of the world tropical forest. Peru , one of the countries with the major geographical, biological and cultural diversity in the world, is divided into three regions (the coast, the sierra and the Amazonian jungle) which sum a total area of 1 .285.220 km2 (496,223 squared miles). The Amazonian area is the biggest one with an area of 956.751 km2 (369,401 squared miles) equivalent to 74% of the country and 12% of the total Amazonian forest (TCA 1992).
